Arches in Winter

December in Arches

On the way home from Santa Fe we stopped in Arches for a day. I love the orange against the blue. In winter the blue is more intense and darker than in the summer in Southern Utah. I donated this picture to the Salt Lake County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner Silent Auction. A good friend bought it. The last time I donated a picture to an auction it ended up at the DI. So I am happy someone who will appreciate it took it home.

City Moon

My Aunt posted a photo from Brooklyn with the full moon over the buildings. I liked how the city's light hit the front of the buildings with the moon shining above. It reminds me that we can all still enjoy nature from the middle of nowhere and from the middle of a metropolis.
